PROGRAM OPTIONS

FORMS NEEDED FOR ENROLLMENT

Our Roane and Loudon County Early Head Start programs serve children birth through three and expectant mothers in the Home-Based program. Home Visitors come into the home for 90-minutes weekly to support children’s first teachers...YOU! Children are exposed to a researched-based curriculum designed for infants and toddlers and are able to come to Socializations two-three times monthly.

EARLY HEAD START & EXPECTANT MOTHERS

Our Head Start Preschool program serves preschool-aged children in one of the two centers located in Roane and Loudon County. Children attend a daily program where teachers are qualified, caring, and excited to build relationships with all children and families. All preschool children are provided individualized education using research-based curriculum.

Our Head Start Pre-K program serves children turning 4 before August 15. Roane and Loudon County Schools collaborate with Mid-East Head Start to provide children with high quality Pre-K classes at Harrison Hills (Loudon County), Fairmont Center, Midtown, Midway, Ridgeview, Kingston, and Dyllis Springs Elementary Schools. Pre-K children are provided kindergarten readiness skills and a research-based state-approved curriculum to give them the best head start for their school experience.
