AGENCY SERVICES
MECAA offers an array of emergency services through multiple funding sources. Services are based on need, uncontrollable circumstances, funding and eligibility.
If you need assistance, please contact our Program Services office. If we are unable to help you directly we may be able to connect you with one of our community partners who can provide support.
Dental services are offered through participating dentists in our area. Assistance is provided based on available funding and program requirements. Eligible individuals may receive services at reduced rates. This program is supported by both federal and local funding.
Supported by federal funding we provide food assistance to individuals and families in urgent need through our Emergency Food Assistance Program. In addition, our Monthly Distribution Program offers food each month to eligible elderly and disabled individuals. This program is funded through both federal and local support.
Our Utility Assistance Programs help households with the cost of home energy bills by providing a one-time payment. This program is funded through federal and local support. Eligibility requirements apply, and assistance is based on available funding.
Our Elderly Support Program Provides services to help eligible individuals maintain their health and independence. Assistance includes monthly vouchers for nutritional supplements with a doctor's prescription, eyeglass support for those without insurance coverage, and emergency response units for high-risk individuals who need quick access to help. This program is supported by federal funding.
